For Steam and Chemical Vapor Sterilizers
Autoclave Tape can be used in 121*C gravity sterilizers, 132*-134*C pre-vacuum sterilizers and the Harvey Chemiclave chemical vapor sterilizers.
Stripes turn dark brown/black after exposure to steam or chemical vapor sterilization conditions, thus providing identification of processed items.
Tan to medium brown indicator stripes may indicate an incomplete sterilization process, resterilization of the item is recommended.
