    This is a remanufactured item made here in
    New England
    with traditional methods and materials. We have made improvement to the shank by fixing the back plate on it to blend with bang iron. This adds to the durability and integrity of the piece. It will not twist or pull out. This design gives a fast hold without the need for drilling two through holes in the stem or deck. Installed it is indistinguishable from the original part.
